Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Foreman in the Phoenix Metro area. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation practices, and jobsite execution. This role requires a proactive individual who can read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications, and who is comfortable using field technology. The HVAC Foreman will be responsible for leading HVAC service installation projects in the field from start to finish, coordinating labor, materials, and equipment to keep jobs moving.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the HVAC crew during installation, maintenance, and repair work on HVAC systems at construction sites.
  • Lead HVAC service installation projects from start to finish, ensuring efficient and quality completion.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to keep jobs moving forward without delays.
  • Utilize field technology such as tablets and service software for efficient project management.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during the installation process without waiting for direction.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
  • Hold crew members accountable for their work and ensure projects stay on track and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation practices, and jobsite execution.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead crews and hold them accountable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adjust in the field without waiting for direction.
  • Comfortable using field technology such as tablets and service software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging environments.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • HVAC certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
