Job Details

Join one of Wisconsin’s most established HVAC/R distribution companies, delivering premium HVAC equipment, supplies, and technical expertise. We’re on the lookout for a Commercial Applications Engineer who thrives in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

As a Commercial Applications Engineer, you’ll act as a trusted technical resource and solutions provider. You’ll work closely with our sales team and customers to interpret plans and specs, design tailored HVAC solutions, and prepare quotes and submittals for commercial projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Review specifications, drawings, and plans to develop technical solutions and accurate quotes.
  • Support the Commercial Sales team with bids, take-offs, and submittals.
  • Act as a technical advisor to engineers and contractors regarding product applications.
  • Assist with product presentations, training sessions, and trade shows.
  • Communicate with manufacturers, engineers, and contractors to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Identify new opportunities and help drive growth through customer engagement.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge and emerging technologies.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience (4+ years in HVAC).
  • Solid grasp of commercial HVAC equipment and system applications.
  • Comfortable reading mechanical, architectural, and electrical blueprints.
  • Familiarity with HVAC control systems and related electrical/mechanical components.
  • Organized, responsive, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
