Responsibilities:
As a HVAC Installer, your primary duties will include:
1. Installing HVAC systems in various types of buildings in accordance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
2. Performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of installed HVAC systems.
3. Collaborating with construction teams and other trades to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into building designs.
4. Preparing and submitting accurate and timely reports on installation projects, including time spent, materials used, and any challenges encountered.
5. Inspecting and testing installed HVAC systems to verify correct operation and to identify any potential issues.
6. Providing guidance and expertise to junior team members and apprentices, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
7. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in HVAC technology to recommend the best solutions for each project.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the HVAC Installer position will possess:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, preferably within the construction industry.
2. A valid HVAC Technician certification.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
4. Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC installation.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
7. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
