Job Details

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead the delivery of HVAC, energy efficiency, and retro-commissioning projects throughout the Peoria region. This role is responsible for managing projects from concept through closeout, ensuring that technical, financial, and performance goals are achieved. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of mechanical systems, project management expertise, and a proven ability to deliver energy-focused building solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of HVAC, energy, and retro-commissioning projects.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate field activities, including system testing, commissioning, and energy audits.
  • Review project documents, designs, and scopes to ensure alignment with client goals and energy standards.
  • Lead progress meetings and provide clear communication to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Track project performance and prepare reports on cost, progress, and energy savings.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or energy solutions.
  • Knowledge of retro-commissioning processes, energy efficiency strategies, and building system optimization.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical equipment.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools (MS Project, Procore, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
