Job Details

Responsibilities
Identify, create, and cultivate new customer relationships
Understand customers’ needs and handoff to appropriate sales or team member
Responsible for meeting monthly sales and performance goals
Follow professional development plan to accomplish individual goals
Identify, target, and develop new customer relationships
Study current customer base versus untapped verticals, customers, and markets; and analyze customers’ behaviors to bridge any gaps and expand customer base
Create sales opportunities such as cold calls, drop-ins, contact lists, industry associations, and networking events
Prioritize, prepare, and execute action plan to target specific customers and markets
Understand customers’ HVAC and BAS needs and explain the value of our services
Develop, estimate, and present Preventative Maintenance Agreements
Provide timely communication, response, and follow-up
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services offered
Remain current with industry trends and customer expectations
Attend relevant trade shows, educational presentations, and customer-oriented conferences and events
Facilitate customer appreciation by sending welcome packages, dropping treats/swag, hosting lunches, etc
Actively represent Company in local organizations, AAFAME, BOMA, and IREM, by attending luncheons, events, and participating in committees
Utilize CRM to maintain, track, and update customer data and activities daily
Maintain accurate records as it pertains to job walks and site visits
Effectively and thoroughly hand-off sales and service opportunities to appropriate team members
Participate in monthly sales team meetings and any turnover or operational meetings, as required
Monitor self-performance through CRM and management reporting
Report progress regularly to Vice President; and seek feedback and coaching when needed
