We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team. As the HVAC Service Manager, you will be in charge of our service department, overseeing all operations related to HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, repair, and customer service. This role will require strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance management to ensure the department runs efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

As an HVAC Service Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Manage and supervise all service department activities, including scheduling, dispatching, and job assignment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex HVAC issues.
  • Develop and manage the department budget, including labor costs, equipment procurement, and operational expenses.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, fostering a learning environment.
  • Implement strategic plans to optimize department operations and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor team performance, providing coaching and feedback to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify growth opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Solid technical understanding, with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
  • Proficiency in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Proven experience in operations management, with a focus on strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Strong team leadership skills, with experience in performance management and staff supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and handle customer complaints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in residential HVAC is a plus.
