Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of field service technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee all aspects of field operations, including scheduling and dispatching technicians to various job sites.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and analyze metrics and KPIs to assess team performance and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Verify timecards and manage payroll for field service technicians.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of HVAC systems, air conditioning, and chillers, providing guidance and support to your team.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety and quality standards, implementing policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and integrate new technologies and techniques into our operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a significant portion of that time spent as a field technician.
  • Proven experience managing staff, including scheduling and dispatching field service technicians.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, air conditioning, and chillers.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Proficient in monitoring metrics and KPIs, with a proven track record of using data to improve operations.
  • Experience with timecard verification and payroll management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make decisions quickly.
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations.
