Responsibilities:

As an HVAC Service Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of the HVAC service department, ensuring all activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
2. Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of HVAC technicians, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
3. Coordinating and scheduling service calls and preventive maintenance with clients.
4. Reviewing and approving service work orders, estimates, and invoices.
5. Ensuring the highest quality of customer service is provided and resolving any customer complaints or issues promptly.
6. Developing and implementing service procedures, policies, and standards to enhance operational efficiency.
7. Collaborating with the sales team to drive revenue growth and profitability of the department.
8. Conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and implementing training programs for the service team.
9. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical advancements, and best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the HVAC or construction industry.
2. Proven experience in commercial/some residential HVAC service and leadership.
3. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
5. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Proficient in using computer software and applications, including MS Office Suite and HVAC service management software.
8. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
