We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our HVAC service department, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction, staff productivity, and financial performance. You will manage a team of field service technicians, handle scheduling and dispatching, and ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of our HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee and manage a team of HVAC service technicians, including scheduling, dispatching, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure all service requests and repairs are performed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle customer service inquiries and issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of chillers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Oversee timecard verification and payroll management for the service department, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service department operations and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Regularly review and analyze service department performance data, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including chillers.
  • Proven experience managing staff, including scheduling and dispatching field service technicians.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Experience with timecard verification and payroll management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and HVAC service management software.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
