Responsibilities:
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
1. Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all types of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
2. Performing regular preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation and longevity.
3. Responding promptly to service calls and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Installing new HVAC systems and equipment, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical wiring.
5. Providing technical support and guidance to customers, explaining complex HVAC issues in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Complying with all safety policies and procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
7. Preparing and submitting service reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
8. Participating in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with the latest HVAC technology and industry trends.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this role will have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a strong focus on residential and light commercial projects.
2. Proficiency in preventive maintenance of HVAC systems, with a solid understanding of HVAC principles, methods, and techniques.
3. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex HVAC issues.
4. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and provide superior service.
5. A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
6. Physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
7. Good communication and documentation skills, with the ability to prepare accurate service reports and explain complex HVAC issues to customers.
8. A high school diploma or equivalent, with HVAC certification or trade school training preferred.
