Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems. This includes RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and split systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry and a deep understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical issues. Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment, diagnosing and resolving technical, electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Service a variety of equipment including RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and split systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and controls to effectively carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, checking in/out at each routine maintenance visit to update them on any findings or needed repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance contracts by replacing filters, belts and making necessary adjustments to pulleys and tensioners.
  • Work in a safe manner, following all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure client satisfaction and maintain high-quality service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician within a commercial setting
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems including technical, electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Familiarity with various equipment including RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and split systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and controls.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to check in/out with customers at each routine maintenance visit to update them on any findings or needed repairs.
  • Proven experience in performing routine maintenance contracts by replacing filters, belts and making necessary adjustments to pulleys and tensioners.
  • Electrical experience and control troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
  • Must be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
