We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the engineering industry where you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to a team that values quality work and customer satisfaction. If you have a background in Commercial HVAC Service and possess an EPA Certification, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of HVAC systems. Your duties will include:
1. Installation, service, and repair of heating and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings.
2. Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure that HVAC systems operate efficiently.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in HVAC systems.
4. Inspecting and testing HVAC systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions.
5. Recommending, developing, and performing preventive and general maintenance procedures such as cleaning, power-washing and vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, and changing filters.
6. Keeping records of all work activities and customer interactions.
7. Providing technical support and guidance to junior technicians.
8. Ensuring compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician.
2. EPA Certification is a must.
3. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
5. Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the industry.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting heavy equipment and working in different weather conditions.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree from a vocational school or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is a plus.
10. Valid driver's license.
