Job Details
As our HVAC Technician, your day-to-day duties will include:
1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and climate-control units throughout our manufacturing facilities.
2. Regular inspection and maintenance of boilers and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal operation.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in electrical and mechanical systems.
4. Performing plumbing repairs and installations as needed.
5. Regularly inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify problems or defects.
6. Providing guidance and expertise on the installation of pipes and plumbing systems.
7. Demonstrating a commitment to safety protocols and workplace cleanliness.
8. Providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, responding promptly to service calls and ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
9. Proactively identifying potential problems and making recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a HVAC Technician, Journeyman, or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. A comprehensive understanding of HVAC Controls, systems, and installation procedures.
3. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance.
4. Experience working with boilers, refrigeration systems, and plumbing.
5. Demonstrated ability to install and repair pipes and plumbing systems.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair issues quickly and efficiently.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. A commitment to safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different locations if required.
11. HVAC certification or equivalent is preferred.
