Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems including heating, cooling, and ventilation.
Perform preventative and routine maintenance to maximize system performance and efficiency.
Install new HVAC units and replace or upgrade existing equipment.
Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including wiring up to 480V three-phase power.
Install, fabricate, and repair ductwork.
Work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and associated controls.
Clearly communicate with customers regarding identified issues, repair options, and solutions.
Ensure compliance with all safety rules and EPA refrigerant handling guidelines.
Keep detailed and accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service reports.
Maintain a safe driving record and operate company vehicles responsibly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or HVAC training preferred.
3+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a related role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Familiarity with VFDs and HVAC controls.
EPA Certification for refrigerant handling required.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel as needed
