We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent hybrid position, offering the flexibility of remote work coupled with the vibrancy of in-office collaboration. As an Accounting Manager, you will be a key player responsible for overseeing our financial operations to drive sustainable growth. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent hybrid position, offering the flexibility of remote work coupled with the vibrancy of in-office collaboration. As an Accounting Manager, you will be a key player responsible for overseeing our financial operations to drive sustainable growth. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Drive the fixed asset accounting process, including maintaining the fixed asset sub-ledger.
- Prepare and submit monthly borrowing base reports to lenders.
- Oversee the balance sheet reconciliation process and ensure all balances are properly supported and explained.
- Manage the tax preparation process, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Prepare and present financial analysis and reports for management, board meetings, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.
- Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in using financial software programs like NetSuite.
- Excellent knowledge of tax preparation, audits, and compliance.
- Ability to manage the entire financial reporting process, including monthly close, balance sheet control, and quarterly and annual reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a commitment to develop and lead an effective team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
