We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute in a pivotal role within our company. This is a permanent hybrid position, offering the flexibility of remote work and in-office collaboration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and enhancing our client relationships.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and service a portfolio of commercial lines insurance accounts, including property and casualty.
2. Analyze client's current policies and make recommendations based on their risk profile.
3. Facilitate policy renewals, ensuring clients have appropriate, cost-effective coverage.
4. Develop and present comprehensive proposals to meet client's insurance needs.
5. Issue certificates of insurance as required by clients.
6. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
7. Work closely with the sales team to support new business development.
8. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and product offerings.
9. Participate in regular meetings with clients and internal teams to review account status and strategy.
10. Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years' experience in commercial insurance, specifically in managing commercial lines accounts.
2. Proven experience in customer service, risk management, policy analysis, and policy renewal.
3. Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products, including property and casualty.
4. Excellent client relations skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
5. Proficient in the use of insurance software systems for policy administration and client management.
6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and present comprehensive proposals.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
8. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration.
9. Current insurance license or ability to obtain one upon hire.
10. A bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred.
