Experienced and detail-oriented Conflicts Attorney to join our Risk Management & Client Intake team. Reporting to the Director of Risk Management & Client Intake Services, this position plays a critical role in protecting the Firm by identifying, analyzing, and resolving conflicts of interest, supporting new business intake, and ensuring compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct.
The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience, strong knowledge of legal ethics and conflicts rules, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, partners, and firm leadership. This role offers the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor on conflicts, risk management, client intake, due diligence, ethical walls, and engagement matters while contributing to the continued success and growth of the Firm.

Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Conduct comprehensive conflict checks for new client and matter intake using Intapp Open.
- Analyze and resolve complex conflict issues that arise during the client and matter intake process.
- Prepare and issue conflict waivers when necessary, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
- Implement and maintain ethical walls to prevent potential conflicts of interest.
- Collaborate with the business development team to manage new business intake effectively.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to other team members on conflict issues.
- Continuously monitor and update conflict management procedures and protocols to ensure they align with current legal standards and best practices.
- Liaise with other attorneys, clients, and stakeholders to address and resolve conflict issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the Intapp system.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney or in a similar role within the legal industry.
- Proficient in using Intapp Open and Intapp Terms.
- Extensive experience in client intake, matter intake, conflict checks, conflict waivers, and ethical walls.
- Deep understanding of the legal and ethical standards related to conflict management.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar association.
