Job Details
As a skilled Crash Reconstruction Engineer, you will lead investigations, perform detailed analyses using advanced tools, and present your findings in both legal and technical formats.
Simultaneously, as the Business Development Market Lead, you will identify new opportunities, cultivate strategic partnerships, and spearhead go-to-market strategies in targeted regions or sectors. Success in this role requires a unique blend of engineering expertise, investigative acumen, and business development savvy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical
o Conduct crash site investigations and vehicle inspections
o Perform crash reconstruction analyses
o Write detailed technical reports and deliver presentations
o Support client relationships and business development
o Maintain updated knowledge of regulations and trends
o Accurately record time and expenses
o Defend your work in a legal setting as an expert witness participating in depositions, testifying, etc.
Business Development
o Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies
o Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results
o Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
o Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and strategic partnerships

Education/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required.
- Registered as an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas (or State applied).
- Must have a Private Investigator (P.I.) License in the state applied or the ability to obtain.
- Have an active NCEES record (Or be eligible to obtain within 90 days of employment).
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales.
- 5+ years of experience in Crash Reconstruction and Analyses required.
- Previous expert witness experience highly preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, which authorizes commercial drone operations in accordance with U.S. regulations.
- Proficiency in reconstruction software.
