A bit about us:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced E-Billing Specialist to join our law firm. This is a permanent hybrid position, offering a unique blend of 1 day remote and 4 days in-office work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of electronic billing for the firm, ensuring that all invoices are accurately generated, reconciled, and submitted in a timely manner. This role requires a deep understanding of basic accounting principles, proficiency in eBilling systems, and a keen eye for detail. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 plus years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm.

Job Details



Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire e-billing process from invoice creation to submission and payment.
2. Utilize e-billing platforms such as CounselLink, Tymetrix 360, LegalTracker, and Aderant to manage and streamline billing processes.
3. Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare detailed billing reports for review by management.
4. Collaborate with attorneys and case managers to ensure accurate and timely billing.
5. Resolve any billing discrepancies or errors in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of e-billing guidelines and compliance requirements.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of new billing procedures and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
8. Provide training and support to other team members on e-billing procedures and systems.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in an e-billing role within a law firm environment.
2. Proficiency in e-billing platforms such as CounselLink, Tymetrix 360, LegalTracker, and Aderant.
3. Excellent knowledge of general ledger systems and reconciliation procedures.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate detailed billing reports.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
9. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
10. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
