We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced E-Billing Specialist to join our law firm. This is a permanent hybrid position, offering a unique blend of remote and in-office work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of electronic billing for the firm, ensuring that all invoices are accurately generated, reconciled, and submitted in a timely manner. This role requires a deep understanding of basic accounting principles, proficiency in eBilling systems, and a keen eye for detail. The candidate must have a minimum of 3plus yrs years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm.

- Manage the complete eBilling process, from the creation of invoices to the reconciliation of the general ledger.
- Coordinate with attorneys, administrative staff, and clients to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Review and edit pre-bills in response to attorney and secretary requests.
- Utilize eBilling software to generate detailed billing reports and conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Understand and effectively manage client billing guidelines and protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new billing regulations and standards in the legal industry.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to reconcile billing accounts and manage account receivables.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries about billing.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 plus years of experience in eBilling, preferably within a law firm.
- Proficiency in eBilling software and systems.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Experience in invoice creation, reconciliation, and management.
- Familiarity with law firm operations and legal billing requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate detailed billing reports.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
