We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Hybrid Paralegal to join our high-performing legal team. This is a permanent role where you will be tasked with supporting our legal staff in all aspects of our litigation practice. You will be working on a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, managing calendars, handling document review, and assisting with depositions. This role requires a strong understanding of law, finance, or banking, and a deep knowledge of legal documentation and assistance.

- Prepare, proofread, and file various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Manage all aspects of the litigation calendar, including scheduling hearings, depositions, and inspections.
- Oversee the docketing process to ensure all deadlines are met and keep the legal team informed of upcoming obligations.
- Assist with the preparation for and execution of depositions, including organizing exhibits, documents, and other necessary materials.
- Perform cite checking and Shepardizing to verify references and citations in legal briefs.
- Use logical software for data management and document review.
- Collaborate with the legal team to prepare for hearings and trials.
- Provide general legal assistance as needed, including drafting correspondence and organizing case files.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in the business litigation field.
- Proficiency in calendaring, docketing, and managing legal documents.
- Strong knowledge of legal research methods and legal citation rules.
- Previous experience with pleadings, motions, hearings, and depositions.
- Familiarity with logical software and other legal technology.
- Experience in the finance or banking industry is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is preferred.
