Our client is creating the first product of its kind in the Energy space!! The team has developed a unique solution that enables real-time collaboration in building what/if scenarios that are critical to the business. This is a standalone software built with commercial intent at some time in the future. This team has a unique blend of not only being at the core of the organization for building DS/Analytics based solutions, but also supports the entire software development, design, and product itself. This team sits at the center of the organization and works with every other team at various levels. This is a small team that takes on large impact work with high exposure.

Located in the Galleria area of Houston, TX, my client is looking to hire a permanent Lead Front End Developer. This role will be 50/50 development and managing. Our client is building collaborative features and rolling out platforms across the organization. You will be leading a team of 4 Front End Developers.

Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite. Flex hours to help avoid traffic

Requirements:
> Lead the FE software engineering team
> Ensure code quality and cohesiveness of the code base
> Setup, and maintain the required processes to ensure product stability and ability to scale the team
> Contribute to the code base by taking on the development of various features

Experience:
> 8+ years of FE development experience
> Experience leading and building SE teams
> Strong Experience in React and related tooling
> Strong Experience in TypeScript
> Strong Experience in testing (Cypress is a plus)
> Strong  Experience with GraphQL.
