Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Paralegal, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting attorneys with all aspects of trial preparation, including research, document review, and drafting legal documents.
2. Managing case files and litigation calendars, ensuring all deadlines are met and proceedings are scheduled correctly.
3. Conducting extensive legal research to support case development and legal proceedings.
4. Utilizing e-discovery tools such as Casepoint and Relativity to manage and review documents.
5. Drafting clear, concise, and effective legal documents, briefs, and memos.
6. Liaising with clients and other legal professionals, maintaining professional and timely communication.
7. Assisting in the preparation and management of discovery, including the collection, organization, and production of documents.
8. Handling email correspondence and other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Litigation Paralegal position, you must possess the following:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal in a litigation setting.
3. Proficiency in e-discovery tools, specifically Casepoint. Experience with Relativity is a plus.
4. Strong legal research skills and a thorough understanding of legal terminology.
5. Experience in environmental law is a plus.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proven ability to manage calendars and coordinate logistics for multiple ongoing cases.
8. Demonstrated experience in document review and trial preparation.
9. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
