Job Details

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by applying GAAP principles and producing timely, detailed financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support month-end close by compiling and analyzing financial data to prepare reports and schedules
  • Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
  • Conduct detailed monthly balance sheet reviews and variance analysis
  • Monitor internal financial controls and promptly report discrepancies
  • Manage fixed asset schedules and monthly depreciation
  • Maintain inventory records and oversee monthly inventory counts
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Prepare documentation and provide support during annual audits
  • Analyze spending trends and cost variances regularly
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Complete assigned projects alongside regular accounting tasks
  • Handle sensitive financial data with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Healthcare or public accounting background is a plus
  • Solid understanding of GAAP principles
  • Familiarity with accounting systems, internet applications, and budgeting tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Great Plains and FRX preferred
  • Demonstrated integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
