We are on the hunt for a skilled and dedicated Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role that will require you to apply your knowledge and expertise in tax and accounting to provide comprehensive financial solutions to our diverse clientele. You will be working closely with a team of experienced professionals and will be directly reporting to the Tax Manager. Responsibilities:

1. Handling and overseeing all tax-related matters of the company, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws, and developing tax strategies to optimize the company's financial performance.
2. Assisting the Tax Manager in managing the company's tax department, which includes supervising junior tax staff, coordinating with other departments, and liaising with external auditors and tax authorities.
3. Conducting thorough financial analysis to identify potential tax savings and investment opportunities.
4. Staying updated on the latest tax regulations and legislation and ensuring that the company's financial practices are in line with these changes.
5. Providing expert tax advice to the company's management and clients, helping them make informed financial decisions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role should have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field will be highly desirable.

2. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.

3. A minimum of three years of experience in a tax-related role, preferably in the finance industry. Previous experience as a tax senior or a similar role will be an advantage.

4. A solid understanding of tax laws and regulations at the state and federal levels.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex financial data.

6. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise a team and coordinate with various stakeholders.

7. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.

8. High levels of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential financial information.

9. Proficiency in tax software and other financial management tools.

10. A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
