Job Details
MUST HAVE -
+ Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil engineering
+ PE Preferred but not required
+ 5 or more years for the Hydraulic Design Engineer or 10 or more years of the Hydraulic Design PM
+ Expereince with NCDOT highly preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -
+ Coordinate, design, and develop project scopes while providing technical guidance.
+ Work independently or with a team on hydraulic design analysis and studies.
+ Conduct hydrology and hydraulic analysis for transportation projects.
+ Design stormwater management systems and retention ponds.
+ Assist with fieldwork to verify site conditions.
+ Use drafting tools like MicroStation to extract data.
+ Manage all aspects of roadway drainage design, including conveyance systems, stormwater management, erosion control, and outfall analysis.
+ Plan and design hydrologic and hydraulic improvements for roadway and drainage projects, including stormwater management, pipe and ditch drainage, water quality BMPs, watersheds, streams, lakes, bridge and culvert hydraulics, and erosion control.
