  • Full-time role as an ICU Nurse Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the ICU department, ensuring efficient and effective patient care
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal care
  • Manage staffing levels, including hiring, training, and scheduling of nursing staff
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing strategies to drive positive change
  • Act as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, providing support and guidance in their professional development
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and other safety measures
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and facilitate seamless transitions

Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in an ICU setting
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably as an ICU Nurse Manager
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care nursing practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Sound decision-making abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, and the ability to ensure compliance
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to mentor and motivate nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting patient safety
