Our law firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Immigration Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for providing exceptional service to our diverse clientele. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with complex immigration issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in immigration law, with a track record of success in handling various immigration cases.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Immigration Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Representing clients in immigration-related matters such as asylum, naturalization, deportation, and visa applications.
2. Preparing legal documents including petitions, applications, and briefs.
3. Conducting legal research and gathering evidence.
4. Keeping clients informed about the status of their immigration cases and explaining legal issues to them in a clear and understandable manner.
5. Collaborating closely with other attorneys and paralegals in our firm to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
6. Staying updated on changes in immigration law and procedure.
7. Participating in case strategy planning and problem-solving with team members.
8. Providing legal consultations to prospective clients, assessing their eligibility for various immigration benefits, and advising them on the best course of action.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Immigration Attorney position, the candidate must meet the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law.
3. Admission to a state bar, with good standing.
4. Proficient knowledge of immigration law and procedures.
5. Proven track record of successfully handling various types of immigration cases.
6. Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to effectively communicate complex legal matters to clients.
8. Detail-oriented and organized, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
9. Demonstrated commitment to serving diverse clientele and advocating for immigrant rights.
10. Fluency in a second language is a plus.
