- Offer strategic guidance to corporate clients on various aspects of business immigration, including employment-based visas, green card procedures, regulatory compliance, and associated legal matters.
- Manage a wide range of complex immigration cases, such as H-1B, L-1, O-1, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, PERM labor certifications, and other employment-based visa categories.
- Advise multinational corporations, startups, and executives on effective immigration strategies to align with business goals and support workforce mobility.
- Represent clients in proceedings with USCIS, the Department of Labor, and other relevant government agencies.
- Design and implement proactive compliance programs, including I-9 audits and E-Verify best practices.
- Monitor updates in immigration laws, policies, and industry trends, ensuring clients are informed of potential impacts.
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff to uphold exceptional service standards.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on business development efforts, including cultivating client relationships and participating in industry events.
- Draft, review, and refine legal petitions, documents, and responses with precision and thoroughness.
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing of the California Bar.
- At least 15 years of experience in business immigration law, with a strong emphasis on employment-based immigration matters.
- Experience at a top immigration firm
- Proven track record of managing complex cases and delivering strategic counsel to corporate clients.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with prior experience overseeing legal teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Ability to efficiently manage high caseloads while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with clients in technology, healthcare, or other high-demand industries.
- Proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
