Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and supporting various litigation processes.
  • Review, negotiate, draft, and revise commercial contracts, including service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, procurement agreements, and more.
  • Handle real property transactions, including leases.
  • Manage the intake of contract requests and conduct internal client interviews to understand issues and provide advice on best practices.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with internal groups requiring legal support.
  • Keep the legal department informed of significant developments in a timely manner, using sound business and legal judgment.
  • Exhibit leadership and teamwork skills to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Provide legal support in specific areas as directed by the General Counsel.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all tasks.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the legal field.
  • Familiarity with a variety of legal documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective at building rapport with clients.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must hold a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and have passed the California State Bar Examination.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of work experience prior to attending law school, with a preference for candidates with litigation support experience.
