Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Review technical drawings and models to estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
Work with sales, engineering, production, and finance teams to support quotes and proposals.
Use software tools to build cost models and suggest ways to streamline manufacturing processes.
Help improve how data is collected and used to support decision-making.
Recommend the best production methods to lower costs and improve efficiency.
Support capital planning decisions and help choose the best location for new projects.
Use CAD software (like SolidWorks) for design analysis and early project planning.
Stay up to date on manufacturing trends and new tools that can improve operations.
Present findings and proposals clearly to both internal teams and customers.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in cost estimating, process improvement, or manufacturing engineering.
Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, equipment, and materials.
Experience using CAD tools and working with product design for manufacturing.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and modern digital tools (Industry 4.0).
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects at once.
Experience with regulated industries or quality standards is a plus.
