Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste, applying continuous improvement methodologies to all aspects of the manufacturing process.
2. Conduct time studies to analyze work systems and design, implement, and refine procedures for system efficiency.
3. Take part in assembly processes, providing innovative solutions and improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
4. Utilize MODAPTS for work measurement and standardization, ensuring that all processes are streamlined and effective.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and requirements, and develop solutions to meet these needs.
6. Design and implement systems to improve material flow and minimize bottlenecks in the production process.
7. Develop and maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment, coordinating with other engineers to implement new and improved manufacturing processes and procedures.
8. Prepare reports summarizing information or trends related to manufacturing performance.
9. Train and guide staff on new processes and equipment.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles, time studies, assembly processes, and MODAPTS.
4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial engineering concepts.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to individuals from non-technical backgrounds.
7. Proficiency in using CAD software for designing and implementing changes in the production process.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
10. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach, and a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement.
