We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Groundwater Treatment Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial Groundwater treatment systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of water treatment processes, and the ability to work independently or within a team to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Perform chemical batching for industrial wastewater treatment.
Inspect equipment and monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges to ensure proper system functionality.
Collect and analyze water and wastewater samples using field testing equipment and color analysis standards.
Maintain accurate operational data and prepare reports using electronic logs and spreadsheets.
Operate and adjust controls to regulate treatment processes for inorganic and organic constituents.
Maintain, repair, and lubricate equipment using hand and power tools.
Clean and maintain tanks, filter beds, pumps, and other system components.
Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and lulls for system maintenance.
Coordinate routine operations and maintenance activities with plant workers.
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical systems and controls (12V DC to 480V AC).
Assist with all levels of operation, maintenance, and monitoring of wastewater treatment facilities.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Practical knowledge of air monitoring equipment (PID), granular activated carbon and multimedia filtration systems.
Experience with various pumps, including centrifugal, chemical feed, and air-operated diaphragm pumps.
Ability to operate inclined plate clarifiers and filter presses.
Experience using colorimeters (HACH), conductivity/dissolved oxygen/pH/ORP meters, and analyzers.
Basic troubleshooting of power supply systems and ability to read design/as-built/P&ID diagrams.
Familiarity with iPad-based HMI systems for treatment system operations.
General understanding of SCADA systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Education & Licensing
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred: Technical school certificate in industrial maintenance or electrical-related field.
Candidates with a N1-N4 are highly preferred.
Maintaining an N-license requires continued education or successful retesting every three years.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or in a team.
Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
OSHA 40-hour training is preferred.
