As a Permanent Industrial Machinery Mechanic, you will play a critical role in our Engineering team. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
2. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment, using various techniques such as electrical troubleshooting, calibration, and welding.
3. Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings to understand machinery layout and troubleshoot issues effectively.
4. Use 2D AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design and modify machinery parts.
5. Work with MIG and TIG welding processes for equipment repair and fabrication.
6. Handle the assembly and wiring of electrical components and systems.
7. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements in machinery design and operation.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures during all repair and maintenance activities.
9. Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Machinery Mechanic or similar role in the Engineering industry.
2. Proficient in electrical assembly, mechanical maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting.
3. Extensive experience with 2D AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
4. Familiarity with MIG and TIG welding processes.
5. Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
6. Experience with conveyor systems and motors.
7. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Proven ability to perform calibration and wiring tasks effectively.
10. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
11. A safety-first mindset, with a strong understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
