Key Accountabilities
Inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining food processing and packaging machines, mechanical/utility equipment in a USDA production environment.

Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience in a food (USDA or FDA) manufacturing environment.

IIllinois (Carol Stream), Wisconsin (Milwaukee, Monroe, Monticello), & Chillicothe, OH

Inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining food processing and packaging machines, mechanical/utility equipment in a USDA production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set-up, troubleshoot and repair of stacking, bagging, check-weighing, UPC bar coding, case erectors and conveyor equipment.
- Dismantling and re-assembly of equipment to perform repairs, cleaning and lubrication according to established maintenance schedules.
- Testing, troubleshooting and repair of 110/230/460V electrical equipment including motors, starters, relays, timers, panels, breakers, conduit & wiring.
- Must be able to trouble shoot equipment and systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, general electrical, including VFD's.
- Minor programming and troubleshooting of VFD’s and PLC’s.
- Knowledge of PLC programming on multiple platforms including RS Logix and Factory Talk View programming.
- Knowledge of servo drives, motor controls, pneumatics, hydraulics and power distribution.
- Fabricates parts and modifies equipment as required.
- Responsible for upholding, following and maintaining the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience in a food (USDA or FDA) manufacturing environment.
- Exp. with production and packaging machines working on mechanical and electrical problems
- Exp. working on automated machinery
- 3+ Years of troubleshooting hi-speed machines
- Multiple years of mechanical & Electrical troubleshooting
- Food production exp a plus
