We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Industrial Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading construction company, where you will be responsible for managing a wide variety of industrial construction projects from inception to completion. You will be working closely with a team of professionals and have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills, technical expertise, and project management capabilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage industrial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, including cost estimates, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
4. Manage contracts and negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
5. Ensure all construction activities comply with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
6. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines or budgets.
7. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
8. Foster a positive and safe work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff.
9. Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to project specifications.
10. Continuously monitor and review project performance, implementing changes where necessary to improve efficiency or effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial construction project management.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry trends.
4. Proficient in project management software and tools.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
8. Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively, with a strong focus on cost control.
9. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry, with a commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
11. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) would be an advantage.
