Job Details
The Industrial Territory Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing sales volume and profitability by developing and maintaining sales of industrial solutions to manufacturing clients. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
Conduct regular client meetings, pitch business solutions, and present pitch decks.
Prepare pricing proposals, send quotes, and manage contract negotiations.
Maintain up-to-date client history records and provide sales activity tracking reports.
Travel extensively (up to 60%) to meet clients and support project execution.
Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to provide innovative solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related engineering field preferred 2.
Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in heavy machinery, industrial, and manufacturing sectors 3.
Strong technical background and understanding of industrial solutions, including tension load cells, stressometers, and edge detection systems 4 5 6.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel extensively and work independently.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus 7.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in selling industrial solutions to heavy industry clients, including metal, steel, cement, aluminum, aggregates, and chemicals 8.
Background in developing and maintaining territories, with a focus on custom sales against competition 9.
Strong business development skills and a hunter mentality for seeking new business opportunities 10 11.
