Job Details
You should have/know some of the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or similar
MCSE
6+ years experience leading IT Position. We need someone who can identify, develop and implement best IT practices
Maintaining the IT infrastructure
Providing hardware and maintenance/troubleshooting of hardware to staff
Maintaining SharePoint where all files and info is stored,
Microsoft Office
Maintaining the server
Maintains the door security system, swipe badges, etc.
Maintains the fire alarm system – with Koorsen
Copy machine maintenance and liaison with the leasing company
Helps with QuickBooks software issues
InfoSec
Provide and monitor suitable telecommunications systems.
Design, install, monitor, and improve company server systems.
Keep advised and provide counsel to management on industry standards, trends, and new technology that can be incorporated into company systems.
Provide customer data transfer facilities (FTP or similar).
Provide, monitor, and uptime of company building security systems.
Schedule regular and emergency building maintenance.
Schedule and manage local fire department audits.
Schedule, manage, and maintain elevator safety permit.
Monitor and provide suitable telecommunications systems.
Create, maintain, improve, and provide firewall for visitor network facility – Maintain company data security (e.g. firewalls, data storage, off-site storage, and disaster recovery).
Support company personnel on IT issues.
Maintain remote user facility and support.
Provide purchasing support for project IT requirements.
Negotiate IT vendor pricing and pricing structure.
Provide network training during new employee onboarding process.
Maintain financial and project data for periods required by customer contracts.
Suggest improvements to company IT systems.
Work with consultants, customers, and end users at the proposal and execution stages of a project.
Develop and implement improved methods and procedures to improve the department's products and services, improve the time taken to provide specific elements (KPIs).
