Responsibilities:
1. Sales Generating Activities:
  • Conduct sales calls and meetings to generate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify potential clients and proactively reach out to them to promote company products and services.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of leads and follow up on all inquiries promptly.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential customers.

2. Key Account Management (KAM):
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Understand the needs and requirements of key accounts and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  • Regularly review key account performance and identify opportunities for growth and upselling.

3. Purchase Orders:
  • Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Monitor order status and provide regular updates to customers.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchase orders.

4. Cold-Calling:
  • Conduct cold-calling activities to generate leads and expand customer base.
  • Introduce company products and services to potential customers over the phone.
  • Qualify leads and schedule appointments for further sales discussions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all cold-calling activities and outcomes.

5. Calipers:
  • Utilize calipers and other measuring instruments to accurately assess product dimensions.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve any issues related to product dimensions.

6. Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs and requirements.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively address customer queries.

7. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
  • Identify and analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Develop strategies to overcome sales challenges and achieve sales targets.

8. Goldmine and Syteline:
  • Utilize Goldmine and Syteline software to manage customer information, sales activities, and order processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Generate reports and analyze data from Goldmine and Syteline to evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar inside sales role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
  • Strong knowledge of sales generating activities, including cold-calling and key account management.
  • Experience in processing purchase orders and coordinating with internal departments.
  • Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring instruments to assess product dimensions.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address customer needs effectively.
  • Familiarity with Goldmine and Syteline software or equivalent CRM and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for success in sales.
