We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Consulting Marketing Specialist / Inside Sales professional to join our remote team. This is an entry-level consultant position within the energy industry, perfect for individuals who are passionate about marketing and sales, and are eager to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, innovative company.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Marketing Specialist / Inside Sales professional, you will:
1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to meet corporate objectives for products and services.
2. Conduct market research to identify market requirements for current and future products.
3. Work closely with the sales team to align sales and marketing strategies.
4. Generate qualified leads and manage the sales process from initiation to closure.
5. Perform sales presentations to match our products with identified needs.
6. Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
7. Achieve sales and profit objectives through effective planning and performance.
8. Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development.
9. Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasting reports.
10. Participate in team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related field.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
3. Proven experience in identifying target audiences and creatively devising and leading marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
5. Strong analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
6. The ability to work independently and as a self-starter, as well as part of a team.
7. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
9. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Familiarity with the energy industry is a plus, but not required.
