Are you a tenacious and strategic attorney with a passion for insurance defense litigation? We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role will focus on a variety of insurance defense litigation matters, providing an exciting opportunity for the right individual to grow and develop their career while making a significant impact within our organization. Responsibilities:

As an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Representing our clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial.
2. Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
3. Conducting and defending depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
4. Developing and implementing litigation strategy, including case evaluation, discovery plans, and trial preparation.
5. Negotiating settlements, resolving disputes, and advocating for our clients in court.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments related to insurance defense litigation.
7. Collaborating with other members of our legal team to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.
8. Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Mississippi state bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
4. Proven experience in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Proficient in legal research and writing.
8. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
9. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
