Responsibilities:

As an Insurance Defense Associate, your responsibilities will include:

1. Representing insurance companies and their policyholders in civil litigation matters.
2. Conducting thorough and timely legal research to support case preparation and provide legal advice.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and revising various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
4. Collaborating with team members to develop defense strategies and negotiate settlements.
5. Attending court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of insurance law and regulations, as well as changes in civil litigation procedures.
7. Providing exceptional client service by maintaining open communication, providing regular updates, and meeting all client expectations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Insurance Defense Associate, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
4. Proficiency in legal research and writing, with a strong ability to draft complex legal documents.
5. Extensive knowledge of insurance law and civil litigation.
