The successful candidate will be part of a team that handles a broad range of insurance defense matters, providing legal support and advice to our diverse clientele. This role requires a strong background in insurance law, insurance defense, civil litigation, legal research, and legal writing.

Responsibilities:

As an Insurance Defense Associate, your responsibilities will include:

1. Representing insurance companies and their policyholders in civil litigation matters.
2. Conducting thorough and timely legal research to support case preparation and provide legal advice.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and revising various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
4. Collaborating with team members to develop defense strategies and negotiate settlements.
5. Attending court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of insurance law and regulations, as well as changes in civil litigation procedures.
