We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Insurance Defense Attorney to join our high-performing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established legal firm, providing top-tier legal representation to our clients in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and managing litigation files from inception through trial. The role will involve working on a wide array of cases, including personal injury, construction, liability, and coverage disputes.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to our clients in the insurance industry, ensuring their interests are well-protected.
2. Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including the preparation of pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial.
3. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Handle a high volume of cases related to personal injury, construction, liability, and coverage disputes.
5. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations effectively.
6. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure the client's best interests are protected.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular case updates and ensuring their needs are met.
8. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the efficient and effective management of cases.
9. Keep abreast of current laws and regulations related to insurance defense and apply this knowledge to current cases and legal advice.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school is required.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
3. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
4. Proven experience handling personal injury, construction, liability, and coverage disputes.
5. Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
7. Proficiency in using legal research software and other legal technologies.
8. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
9. Ability to work independently, but also as part of a collaborative team.
10. Strong commitment to ethical legal practice.
