Job Details
Responsibilities:
As an Insurance Defense Attorney, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Representing clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including third-party claims and coverage analyses.
2. Drafting a variety of legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and complaints.
3. Conducting and defending depositions.
4. Representing clients in court hearings at both the state and federal level.
5. Conducting thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
6. Utilizing exceptional writing skills to effectively communicate complex legal concepts and strategies.
7. Independently thinking and making decisions on case management and strategy.
8. Demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and managing deadlines effectively.
9. Accurately recording billable hours and managing case budgets.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Colorado Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense, with a demonstrated record of success.
4. Extensive experience with third-party claims, coverage analyses, drafting motions, pleadings, and complaints.
5. Proven experience in conducting and defending depositions.
6. Experience in representing clients in both state and federal court hearings.
7. Superior legal research and writing skills.
8. Demonstrated independent thinking and case management skills.
9. Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to manage deadlines.
10. A proven track record of accurately recording billable hours and managing case budgets.
11. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
