Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with a background in civil defense litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with seasoned litigators on high-stakes cases, contribute to strategy, and grow within a supportive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of civil defense matters from inception through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategies.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active Louisiana Bar membership.
  • 3-10 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in employment or healthcare defense.
  • Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
