Our dynamic and fast-paced law firm is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a distinguished team of attorneys who are passionate about their work and committed to delivering the highest quality legal services. The chosen candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of insurance defense cases. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal industry, specifically in insurance defense, and must be licensed to practice law in New York.

Responsibilities:
1. Representing our clients in all stages of litigation, from inception through appeal.
2. Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and filing them with the court.
3. Performing legal research, preparing legal documents, and advising clients on legal transactions.
4. Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
5. Complying with all legal standards and regulations.
6. Performing administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
7. Attending court hearings or other legal proceedings and representing the client as required.
8. Communicating with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
9. Conducting depositions, examining witnesses, and performing other discovery-related tasks.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an insurance defense attorney.
3. Active member of the New York State Bar Association.
4. Proven experience in insurance defense litigation.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.
10. Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
