Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal support and advice to our clients in the area of insurance defense.
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, discovery, motion practice, and trial work.
- Handle a caseload involving insurance defense, commercial litigation, and liability cases.
- Serve as the first chair in trials, presenting cases in a way that ensures the client's rights and interests are protected.
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve cases efficiently and favorably.
- Work on labor law issues and construction accident cases, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, and the legal landscape.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure the best representation for our clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judicial officers, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Insurance Defense Attorney or similar role.
- Proven experience with trial work, first-chair responsibilities, commercial litigation, liability cases, labor law, and construction accident cases.
- Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
