Job Details:
Our law firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. This position will focus on providing comprehensive legal defense services to insurance companies, primarily in the areas of property damage and insurance coverage disputes. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality legal representation to insurance companies in defense of claims and lawsuits.
• Prepare coverage opinions that accurately interpret and explain insurance policy provisions.
• Conduct thorough and timely legal research to support defense strategies.
• Draft and review a wide variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, offering clear communication and regular updates on case progress.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the legal team to ensure the best possible outcome for clients.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in insurance law and related areas of legal practice.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Current license to practice law in the state.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense and/or insurance coverage experience.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
