Job Details

In this role, you will have hands-on responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to develop strong litigation skills in a collaborative, small-team environment focused on insurance defense and complex general liability matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of general liability defense matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, and prepare pleadings
  • Handle written discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
  • Communicate proactively with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
  • Participate in case strategy, evaluation, and reporting

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of litigation experience with a defense background required
  • Experience handling general liability, premises liability, construction defect, or related matters preferred
  • Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable managing cases independently with appropriate supervision
  • Member in good standing with the Florida Bar
