Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Insurance Producer to develop and grow commercial insurance business with a focus on real estate, construction, and hospitality clients. The ideal candidate has experience working with property owners, developers, contractors, hospitality operators, hotels, restaurants, and related businesses, and understands the unique risk management and insurance needs of these industries.

The Insurance Producer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and collaborating with account management and underwriting teams to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Prospect, develop, and maintain a pipeline of commercial insurance opportunities.
Build relationships with real estate investors, property management companies, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, hotels, restaurants, and hospitality groups.
Conduct risk assessments and identify coverage needs for prospective clients.
Present and sell commercial insurance products, including:
General Liability
Commercial Property
Workers' Compensation
Commercial Auto
Umbrella/Excess Liability
Builders Risk
Professional Liability
Cyber Liability
Employment Practices Liability (EPLI)
Negotiate coverage options and pricing with insurance carriers.
Prepare and deliver proposals, coverage reviews, and renewal presentations.
Collaborate with account managers to ensure excellent client service and retention.
Attend networking events, industry associations, trade shows, and community events to generate referrals and new business.
Meet or exceed annual sales and revenue goals.
Maintain accurate client and prospect records in the agency CRM system.
Stay current on insurance products, carrier appetite, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required.
2+ years of commercial insurance sales experience preferred.
Experience working with real estate, construction, or hospitality clients strongly preferred.
Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales goals.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and risk management concepts.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Experience
Real estate portfolios, multifamily housing, property management, or commercial properties.
Construction risks including general contractors, subcontractors, and developers.
Hospitality operations including hotels, restaurants, bars, resorts, and entertainment venues.
Existing network of industry contacts and referral partners.
